We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, provides high-quality patient care, and is comfortable treating a wide range of acute conditions across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform physical exams and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, labs, EKGs)
- Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision & drainage, and wound care
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the EMR
- Provide excellent customer service and patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Current, active NP or PA license in CA
- Board certification (FNP, ENP, or PA-C)
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification
- Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
Work Schedule
- Flexible scheduling available
- 8 and 12-hour shifts
- Some weekends
